Have Great Fun in the Hot Middle East - Dubai Safari Tours

Dubai is economically flourishing and enjoys the status of being one of the richest nations in the world with its oil wealth. Traveling in Dubai is a very fascinating encounter, with east meeting west. The traveler will experience the first meeting between mankind & desert. The safari team can count anywhere between 1 to 6 or even more. The departs in the afternoon across the desert of Dubai with several photo-stops during an exciting dune drive to the first destination a camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. The team stops to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching the campsite for an opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet. After working up an appetite, the safari team enjoys a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe).Then the team returns Dubai. The team also can watch the belly dancer performing her show around the campfire by starlight.

The rough itinerary goes like this:


  • Pick up by 4x4 wheel Drive from any point in Dubai between 3.15pm to 4.00 p.m.
  • Drive through the desert along Al Awir Road - Dune Bashing.
  • 20-30 minutes Dune Driving
  • Sun Set Photography
  • Camel Rides
  • Belly Dancing
  • Bar
  • Henna Painting
  • Hubbllee Bubblee (shisha)
  • Arabic Coffee (gahwa) and Fresh Dates
  • Traditional costumes
  • Unlimited soft drinks, tea coffee and mineral water
  • Buffet Dinner and B.B.Q.(vegetarian food also available on request)
  • Departure at 9.30 pm
  • Sand Skiing (not included supplementary)

Note - Not recommended for - Children below 3 years, pregnant women and very elderly people.

Safety

The drivers are professional and licensed and trained in First aid. The cars are fitted with roll cage to protect the occupants from being injured in an accident, particularly in the event of a roll-over in the desert which is very rare. There are seat belts for every passenger. 4x4 Land Cruisers are used. Also from the starting moment, the passengers are covered under insurance.

Sand Ski

A very popular part of the desert safa`ri. The safari team gets to ski from the highest dunes on a ski board, everyone can do it – feel the soft sand is there to catch. A thrilling experience indeed!

Camel trek

Another popular activity in the desert is the camel trek. Enjoy the sunset while you are on the highest dune going towards the camp where you have drinks and dinner waiting for you. This is a more personal way to experience the desert environment; you get a glimpse of the desert vegetation the strange insects on the sands.
